The Gray Goose is a non-commercial press. It was the name given the first press, a table model platen hobbypress, made by Kelsey in Meriden, Connecticut. It was painted battleship gray and had a goose neck handle. Thus the name "The Gray Goose Press". The second press was a Chandler & Price floor model, made in Cleveland, Ohio. It was also painted gray. It was used commercially in the past. Both presses have been passed on to other artists. |
